Seeking an experienced administrator to support counseling intake and performance reporting
Bridging the Gap Sydney West has been supporting children, youth and families in our local community for over 40 years. With a mission to serve and build hope in those who are struggling, we have built a reputation as a professional and caring team that is making a real difference to the lives of those we serve. With teams focused on targeted earlier intervention counseling and schools programs for children and young people at risk of disengagement from school, family and community; on financial counseling and on assisting clients access nil interest loans, we are seeking a part time administrator to provide vital support for effective and efficient operations.
Our services are located in St Marys between 9am and 7pm. The work hours of this role are negotiable.

What we need from you:
As our ideal candidate you will have:
- A passion to make a difference in young people’s lives
- Experience providing office / administrative support to a therapeutic practice
- Available at least 3 days per week
- A commitment to Bridging the Gap’s Vision and Values
Criteria:
As our ideal candidate you will have:
- Excellent organisational skills (essential).
- Capable with technology – Client Management Systems, Word, Excel, and Outlook (essential).
- Experience working collaboratively in a team environment (essential).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (essential).
- Can demonstrate a value for Christian faith community (essential).
- Knowledge of current child protection, work health & safety and privacy legislation (desirable).
- Bachelor degree in a therapeutic discipline, or working towards (desirable).
- Office administration experience (desirable)
- Experience with NDIS (desirable).
- Experience with DEX reporting (desirable).
- Experience with newsletters, social media and electronic digital mail (desirable).
- Experience with organising events eg AGM and supporter dinners (desirable).
- The successful candidate will need to provide current (i) Working with Children Check, (ii) Police Check, (iii) NDIS worker clearance.
