Get That Job is a job skills program for students in Yrs 9 and 10. It is designed to be fun and interactive, and appropriate for students with lower literacy.
Topics Include:
- Goals and dreams for the future
- Brainstorming career options according to values and personality type
- Resume writing
- Cover letter writing
- Interview skills and interview practice
Details:
- 6 participants per session
- 2 sessions per term per school
- Full day or 2 x half-day program
- Requires computer access
- Low-literacy friendly
