Dollars and Sense provides students with the basic financial literacy skills needed to exist in “the outside world”. It is particularly relevant to students in out-of-home care.
Topics Include:
- Setting life goals
- Earning money, tax and superannuation
- Saving, spending and budgeting
- Staying connected (phone and internet plans)
- Insurance (including health insurance and Medicare)
- Managing credit cards and debt
- Self-care
