
Finance and Administration Officer

Bridging the Gap Sydney West has been serving the local community for 40 years and has a strong reputation.
We are looking for an experienced finance and administration officer to support our operations, based in our offices in St Marys, in Sydney’s west.
You can support us as we make a difference in the lives of young people and their families.

What we need from you:
- Finance, accounting and administrative experience.
- Suitable qualification – eg accounting degree.
- Available 2 days per week, initially Monday 10-3 and Tuesday 10-630.
- A commitment to Bridging the Gap’s Vision and Values
Criteria:
- Bachelor degree in accounting (desirable), or relevant cert IV plus experience (essential).
- Capable with technology – especially Excel and accounting/payroll applications (we use MYOB) (essential).
- Payroll knowledge and experience (essential), and SCHADS award (desirable).
- Excellent organisational skills (essential)
- Experience working collaboratively in a team environment (essential).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (essential).
- Can demonstrate a value for Christian faith community (essential).
- Knowledge of child protection, work health & safety, and privacy legislation (desirable).
- Experience with NDIS (desirable).
- Successful candidates will need to provide current (i) Working with Children Check (ii) Police Check and (iii) Current NDIS worker clearance
