Counsellors and Psychologists

Bridging the Gap, St Marys is looking for youth-oriented and community-focussed Counsellors and Psychologists. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team environment, providing counselling for young people 12-18 years and their families.

You can make a difference in the lives of young people with mental health and family and relationship issues.

Interventions can be up to 6 months allowing time for healing and growth.

What we need from you:

  • A passion to make a difference in young people’s lives
  • Full registration as a Psychologist, a Master Counselling or Master Social Work (Counselling)
  • Current membership of AHPRA, PACFA, AASW, CCAA, or similar
  • Experience providing clinical services to young people aged 12 – 18 years
  • Medicare eligibility (Psychologists and Social Work Counsellors)
  • Available at least 2-3 days per week, at least one evening to 7.30pm
  • A commitment to Bridging the Gap’s Vision and Values
