This 8 week program is designed specifically for youth who are identified as being at risk of disengaging from school and family life.

Using a strengths based approach, students will be equipped to:

  • set goals
  • manage overwhelming emotions
  • understand responsibility
  • appreciate the consequences of their actions
  • build resilience to overcome hard times
  • communicate more effectively
  • develop hope

The course includes the “Rock & Water” Modules which cover

  • building self control
  • facing bullying
  • building confidence
  • building convictions

The goal of the I CAN course is to equip students with the skills necessary to overcome the challenges they may be faced with, while encouraging them to reach their goals and live to their full potential.

 Get that Job

This 1 day employment focussed program is ideal for students in year 9 and 10.  Students are encouraged to think about their future and how their choices today have consequences on the accomplishment of their goals.

Resilience Doughnut

The Resilience Doughnut supports the development of resilience in children and adolescents.

  • This is a group to teach parents how to facilitate and encourage resilience in their children’s lives.
  • There is no set age range, though children and adolescents from approximately age 6-18 would benefit.
  • Parents will also gain insights into their own resilience.
